University of Iowa Research Study

The Heritage Agency would like to invite Family Caregivers and those Service Providers that work to support caregivers to participate in a research study being conducted by University of Iowa researchers.  The study hopes to learn about the social relationships between staff service providers at community-based aging network agencies and family members providing care at home in Iowa. If you are a Family Caregiver for or Service Provider of an individual(s) affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia (ADRD), they are interested in talking with you!

University of Iowa researchers are looking to better understand the social relationships between community-based service providers and family members of persons affected by dementia.

If you agree to participate, we would like you to complete an online survey (link below). Your participation is voluntary, which means you may choose not to participate, are free to skip any questions that you prefer not to answer, you may ask questions if they arise, and can stop the survey at any time. There is no right or wrong answer to any of the questions. We are interested in your opinions. Your ideas are important to us and we welcome different points of view. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete the survey.  If you choose to provide your name and contact information, we will send you a $25 check when you complete the survey.

If you have any questions or would like to complete this survey over the phone, please call or email Emily Hejna, at the University of Iowa (phone: 319-384-4378 or email: cph-communityNW@uiowa.edu).
