Compassionate Touch May 2019

The Compassionate Touch® Program

Holding a seniors hands

Compassionate Touch® is a holistic approach combining skilled touch with compassionate presence to enhance quality of life for those in the later stages of life. Designed to ease physical, behavioral and emotional distress, the approach provides symptom relief and comfort resulting in greater well-being and quality of life. With a focus on empowering care partners, it emphasizes giving both professional and family caregivers a way to connect with, calm and comfort those for whom they are providing care.

Stephanie Humphries, owner of Right at Home and Certified Compassionate Touch® Coach, will describe how caregivers can use compassionate touch and will demonstrate various techniques. This is for any caregiver and care receiver living with any chronic condition.
