Right at Home Central Oregon featured in the Wall Street Journal

Two of Right at Home Central caregivers, along with owner Julie Burket, were recently featured in a Wall Street Journal article about retirees taking care of other elderly retirees. Diane Richards is 81, has been a Registered Nurse for 61 years. She has been working for Right at Home as a caregiver and trainer. Richards instructs caregivers and client families on how to adminster medicine and performs assessments. She told the WSJ that she does have less energy than she did in her youth, but that doesn't deter her.

Burket told the Wall Street Journal. "I never worry bout my caregivers in their 50s, 60s or older." She said one of her most reliable caregivers is Linda McCallum, 79, who started with Right at Home in 2018. McCallum worked through the pandemic and continues to provide outstanding care to those clients she serves and it allows her to stay active and earn an income.
