Veterans Lunch At La Pine Senior Center

Right at Home Central Oregon had the opportunity to sponsor a Veteran's lunch at the La Pine Senior Center on Thursday September 19, 2024. It was a wonderful event, so many veterans and their families showed up! We served 111 hot meals that day. The menu was chicken fried steak and gravy, vegetables, and scalloped potatoes, with apple crisp for dessert. Andy our owner got a chance to have a table there, and to talk about Right at Home's services and how we can help vets stay at home- and age in place. 

La Pine Community Health clinic was there too, they are a wonderful resource for veterans in the area, connecting them with services like home support, meals, transportation, medical assistance, and benefits counseling. We highly recommend them as a resource for vets in the La Pine area. Our caregivers are so passionate about helping veterans, it is a big honor for us to help them stay happy and healthy at home. After all they have done for our country, they deserve the best care possible!
