Care Star of the Month August

Our Care Star for August was longtime RAH caregiver, Alberta! She is highly skilled and experienced in complex care. Her work ethic and dedication is unparalleled. More often than not, she will work over 40 hours a week. Thank you, Berta, for being a shining star on the RAH Team!

Berta is a Native American, from the Warm Springs Reservation & attended school on the coast of Oregon. She has lived mainly in Oregon, but had the fortune to live on the Eastern Seaboard for about 8 years. She loved it there, but her heart was always with Oregon. Moving back to Oregon, she had 3 children, who are now adults. She is blessed with 5 Grandchildren. She has lived in Redmond for the past 11 years. She loves living in Redmond and being able to work in the area for Right At Home. Some of her favorite hobbies include, crocheting, embroidery and cooking! Baking cookies, breads and cakes is her favorite hobby! Her 'down' time is spent snuggling with my dog Bandit, watching Netflix or Hulu!

She always willing to take on extra shifts when our clients need her. Families and clients absolutely love her positive attitude and sunny smile. Part of what makes Kara a STAR is her wealth of experience and excellent caregiving skills. Kara is a caregiving powerhouse and we are proud to have her on our team!
