Kevin Knapp, President, Right at Home Cherry Hill

Kevin graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Communications. Prior to opening his Right at Home office, he had operated other small businesses and was a consultant in a fitness-related industry.

Jane Knapp, Director of Marketing, Right at Home Cherry Hill

janeJane is the Committee Chairperson of the Tri-County Regional Ethics committee (TREC), serving Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties of New Jersey. She became a member of the Tri-County Regional Ethics Committee (TREC), a volunteer service organization under the Office of the New Jersey Long-Term Care Ombudsman’s Office, in 2005. In 2006 she completed the Stein Statewide Ethics Education Development training, developed by Cooper Hospital and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and began to facilitate case consultations for long-term care facilities to resolve bio-medical ethical dilemmas. She has been doing ethics consultations from 2006 to the present, helping numerous families, guardians, residents and staff come to resolutions.

Jane has participated in continuing ethics education from the Ombudsman’s Office in the subsequent years to the present because of her role as a local ethics consultant for the Burlington, Camden and Gloucester County region. She has also worked with the Bureau of Guardianship services to make recommendations for persons with developmental disabilities. In her years of service for TREC, she organized several large ethics conferences for professional staff requiring nursing, social work, assisted living or nursing home administrator credits. In 2010 she became the chairman of TREC and thus became a member of the Ombudsman’s Office state ethics consortium, an opportunity that allows for both discussion of ethical issues in long-term care and further education. She has served on the Inspira Medical Center’s ethics committee for the past 3 years as a community lay person representative. In 2012, she received an outstanding service award for her contributions to TREC that was presented to her by James McCracken, New Jersey Long-Term Care Ombudsman.
