A dozen participants attended this past Tuesday, including individuals with a Right at Home caregiver or a friend and couples. We enjoyed art appreciation and drawing program as well as each other’s company over a snack and coffee. There is a different type of engaging and entertaining program each month and the participants will be helping to run the monthly memory care café. We had a social worker and nurse and a chaplain helping to lead the discussion. The Beachwood Community Center is well appointed, has a revolving gallery of art, and is fully accessible. No reservations are necessary and there is no charge. For more information contact Tonia Porras at (718) 216-7416 tporras@gloriaswaymc.org or Shalom Plotkin at 216-357-1547.
