Community Partners in Parkinson's Care Member
Right at Home Columbia has joined the Parkinson’s Foundation Community Partners in Parkinson’s Care, a membership program and esteemed distinction for senior living communities and home care agencies. The program enables organizations to provide quality education and tools to equip those caring for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD). This program requires a minimum of 70% of all care staff to complete the training. Right at Home Columbia's entire care team has been trained. Training covers aspects of the disease, how the disease affects movement, cues for support, assistance with daily living tasks, and changes in communication and thinking. The Right at Home Columbia team are the only South Carolina participants in this membership and are proud to offer this level of specialized care.
