Birthday Bash at Copper Springs
Another great Birthday Bash at Copper Springs (Resort Lifestyle Community) in Gilbert, Arizona. November had another great turn out. Elvis’s Happy Birthday Baby song started the singing followed by the residents singing their own song. We are now having the Birthday celebration at 4:00 in the afternoon with Wine, cheese, cracker and birthday cake. The residence come down have great conversations and then off the dinner. Thanks Copper Springs for having us provide care for the residents.
Case Management Society of America - Arizona Chapter
Friday Oct 12th was Case Management Society of America Arizona Chapter’s 18th Annual Conference. Now for 10 years (since we have opened) we have been attending the conference as an exhibitor. Each year there are new attendees and new ideas in Home Care. This conference is always well attended and every year we see new ways to better serve our aging population. One of the main topics this year involved Brain and Memory issues and how to understand what a loved one goes through and what the family will encounter. We would like to thank the Committee for putting together another very successful conference and look forward to next year’s agenda.
FREE Blood Pressure Checks at Gilbert Senior Center
Gilbert Senior Center reached out to Right at Home to help with Blood Pressure checks every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. It is always nice to give back to the community whenever we can. We had a great turnout for our first Tuesday’s Blood Pressure Checks. We will also provide a monitoring tool so each participant can keep track of their Blood Pressure and report any highs or low to their Doctor. Thank you, Gilbert Senior Center for reaching out and including Right at Home in your community.
Copper Springs May Birthday Party
Gilbert Arizona - On Thursday May 24, 2018, Right at Home sponsored the monthly Birthday Bash at Copper Springs, a Retirement Lifestyles Community. We celebrated 6 birthdays for the month of May, with music, cake and ice cream. The birthday song was an Elvis Presley sing along. It is always nice to see the birthday folks come out and enjoy their special day with others at Copper Springs, next month we will have the pleasure of recognizing a resident that turn 97!
Italian Club Mesa
Right at Home Mesa was invited to attend an event at the Arizona American Italian Club by Aunt Barb’s Placement Agency. Over 30 vendors were there that help with the aging population. Air Conditioning, Home Health, Home Care, Cabinet repair, massage therapist, Legal advice, Palliative care, etc. It is always an honor to be included at an event that serves the elderly. There are so many people out and about that take advantage of an elder’s situation and gives them false information and repair things that don’t need to be repaired. Being a part of a group of colleagues that trust each other and know they will be honest and fair is what these events are all about. Thanks for Barbara and Monica for inviting us to be part of your group. And special thanks goes to Arizona American Italian Club for hosting this event.
Dollhouse find new home after donation to Leisure World
Right at Home donated a doll house to Leisure World that had been in the family for over 20 years. In those 20 years, the house went through a large amount of trauma and needed remodeled With our daughter now done with college, the doll house needed a new home. Right at Home provides care for several clients in Leisure World and are familiar with Leisure World’s charity events and their donations to many organizations. We know that the doll house would go to a great home after the remodel. After several months and many man hours, the doll house was auctioned to a couple who bought it for their own daughter. She has a disability herself and this doll house will be a part of her therapy. The proceeds went to fund another project in the workshop. They are in the middle of building toy cars for the U.S. Marine to give to the children in Iraq and Afghanistan. Thanks to our donation, they are able to make an additional 150 toy cars. Right at Home would like to thank the people who worked hard in the work shop to give the doll house a facelift to be able to auction it off for the money to make toy cars. Also, big thanks to Leisure World for all they do for the community.
Gilbert Senior Center Vendor Fair
Gilbert Senior Center held its vendor fair Friday April, 6th. Right at Home tries to attend as many events as possible to help support the seniors and the community. It’s is always fun to see the seniors getting out and mingling with different health providers. These events are very educational for the senior community as well as getting the seniors active in the community. Right at Home wants to thank Gilbert Senior Center for hosting this event and special thanks to Amanda for putting this together.
Leisure World Expo and Home Show
The Leisure World Expo and Home Show was this past weekend on February 10th and Right at Home was invited to be a guest at their yearly event. Currently, we have a few clients that live in Leisure World. We invited our clients to come down and join the Expo and Home Show. Ruth, our client, stopped by our table and told us how grateful she is with her Caregiver and without our help she would be stuck at her home. This compliment in itself really put into perspective what we do. We allow clients to age-in-place while being able to enjoy life. Again, thanks to Leisure World for having this event and to the residents that came out and stopped by to thank us for all the great things Right at Home does for the residents.
Las Palmas Grand Vendor Fair
Right at Home attended the Las Palmas Grand vendor fair on February 1, 2018. Las Palmas Grand is a 55 plus community with several properties in the East Valley. Right at Home is proud to have the opportunity to be there for the seniors when they need a little help to allow them to age- in-place. We take pride in helping with the little things as well as more complex and personal care. We can assist with anything from light housekeeping, running errands to personal care. We tailor our services to fit the needs of the clients to make it affordable and beneficial to them. Copper Springs Birthday Party

ight at Home sponsored the first Copper Springs resident’s birthday party. There were over 20 residents that helped celebrate their neighbors. It is always nice to see a community grow and everyone supports one another at Copper Springs does. Right at Home will be sponsoring the Birthday party the last Thursday of every month. We are happy to be of assistance to the residents and help them age- in-place while Copper Springs provide an excellent class act community to live in.
Vendor Fair at Fountain of the Sun
A huge thank you to the Fountain of the Sun for inviting Right at Home to participate in their annual Vendor Fair that took place on January 17th. Right at Home has been involved with many Fountains of the Sun’s residents over the last 9 years, from Companionship to hands-on care. It is a beautiful community and we look forward to assisting the residents so they can continue to live independently for years to come.
Annual Case Management Society of America Arizona Chapter Meeting
Case Management Society of America (CMSA) Arizona chapter was held on November 17th in Scottsdale. Right at Home is pleased to be a part of this event for the 9th year in a row. We attend every year to recognize case managers who are so vital to the health care industry. We work closely with many case managers who ensure the patient gets the care they need once they are in their home.
Health Fair at Resort Lifestyle Community in Copper Springs
Right at Home was a guest at this Wednesday’s Health Fair at the new Resort Lifestyle Community, Copper Springs. The community is an independent living property that opened on September 1st in Gilbert. Right at Home helps to promote Aging-in-Place by providing excellent care for loved ones at their residence. Copper Springs is always reaching out and putting together resources to assist our aging population with anything they need help with. We want to thank Copper Springs and Emily for reaching out to Right at Home and inviting us to join.
Walk to End Alzheimer's
Right at Home participated in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Phoenix. Currently, there are more than 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s and it is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. Right at Home actively donates to the Alzheimer's Association each year as it is a disease that affects us personally and professionally. While there is no cure for Alzheimer’s, Right at Home is able to provide experienced caregivers and CNAs who can alleviate some of the stress this disease causes. This year, the walk raised more than $400,000 which brings us that much closer to finding a cure.
Veteran's Day Event at Chandler Senior Center
Right at Home Sponsored Veterans’ Day at Chandler Senior Center on Thursday November 9th. It’s always an honor to give back to the ones who served our country. Right at Home has a contract with the Veteran’s Administration; we provide a caregiver or CNA to help the veterans with bathing, fall prevention, companionship, light housekeeping, laundry, etc. Thanks to Nancy and Matt for having a special day for the veterans of Chandler and thanks for inviting Right at Home.
Town Meeting at Westchester Senior Living
Right at Home sponsored the town meeting at Westchester Senior Living. Our caregivers and CNA’s have been helping residents at Westchester for many years. Right at Home help with the seniors daily needs and we concentrate on Fall Prevention. Our goal is to help Westchester’s senior to age in place. Again, thank to the Westchester staff for hosting the monthly town meeting and allowing Right at Home to sponsor the event.
Savior Hospice
Right at Home Northwest Phoenix, Right at Home Scottsdale, and Right at Home East Valley teamed up on Halloween to speak with the staff at Savior Hospice. We want to thank them for inviting us and we look forward to working with them in the future.
Copper Springs Grand Opening
Right at Home East Valley has been lucky enough to be chosen as the in-house care provider in Copper Springs independent living community in Gilbert. Our wonderful caregivers have an office located in the buildings fitness center. Right at Homes caregivers help the residents with anything from incontinence care and bathing to meal escorts and companionship. Every Tuesday morning we host free blood pressure checks and every Thursday our caregiver Selena leads the residents in a chair aerobics class. We look forward to helping this beautiful community grow!
Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona
Right at Home Northwest and Right at Home East Valley spent the morning learning about Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona to see if there are ways we can partner with them to help our clients affected by a brain injury. Las Palmas Grand Community Meeting | Mesa
Thank you Las Palmas Grand in Mesa, AZ for allowing Right at Home to sponsor Donuts and Coffee for the residents during their community meeting. Las Palmas is an award winning active senior community with over 800 homes. The communities club house has its own post office, gym, and ballroom where they host excellent Holiday parties and other activities for the residents.
The seniors in this 55+ community want nothing more than to age in place. Right at Home has been involved with several of the residents at Las Palmas Grand with a specialized care plan to suit all of their needs.
West Valley Alzheimer's Walk
Right at Home Northwest, Right at Home East, and Right at Home West Phoenix and West Valley teamed up to fight Alzheimer's with a walk put on by the Alzheimer's Association Desert Southwest Chapter! Alzheimer’s is a disease that not only affects us in a business aspect, but also a personal one. Each donation brings us one step closer to finding a cure to this disease. We want to thank everyone that came out and showed their support. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Phoenix walk on November 11th!
Fountain of the Sun Community in Mesa
Right at Home was the Coffee and Donuts Sponsor for Fountain of the Sun Community in April 2017. Many of the residents were familiar with Right at Home and others were very interested about home care for the elderly. Several in the group were also interested in part time work with Right at Home. We chatted about helping their neighbors with transportation to appointments or just getting out to go shopping. The community does have a program call “Citizens Service Club” where community volunteers help their neighbors, however sometimes extra help is need with more of the hands on care. Thanks to all the residents that came out and joined us.
Fountain of the Sun is a secure, well-maintained, 55+ community. The community has a wide variety of homes and prices to accommodate most needs. Fountain of the Sun has 2,352 homes from Single family homes for those who live in the valley of the sun full time to townhomes and condo for the snow birds.
CorVel Corporations 15th Annual Educational Seminar
CorVel is a nationwide work compensation insurance company that specializes in smart processes and innovative technologies to minimize work compensation costs. There was over 200 risk managers, adjusters, and case managers from the auto and health liabilities field in attendance. The seminar was held at the Desert Willow Conference Center in Phoenix, AZ. Topics covered at this event were about advances in drug testing, treatment guidelines, data analytics, and new legislation.
Right at Home was invited to this educational seminar because we provide services that help CorVel reduce their costs by providing quality home care for their members. Right at Home provides in home assistance with daily needs, rehab guidance, and transportation for doctors and therapy appointments.
27th Annual Chandler Senior Expo | Chandler
The Chandler Senior expo is presented by Mayor's Committee for the Aging and is dedicated to providing the citizens of Chandler a free, high quality, informational, and educational event. The event is to help the welfare and dignity of the aging population of Chandler with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life for these individuals. Thanks to the Chandler Senior Center for hosting this great event and thank you to the 1,500 seniors who came to learn and explore some great vendors.
Leisure World Health and Fitness Expo | Mesa
Special thanks to Leisure World in Mesa for inviting us to participate in their annual Health and Fitness Expo. Leisure World is one of the most desired active-adult communities in the East Valley. Right at Home has been participating in this event for 5+ years, it is always nice to see some of our clients out and about enjoying the weather and the vendors with our caregivers.
