Caregiver Training

We started 2019 with our first mandatory training of the year. We will be doing hands-on training for our caregivers every quarter. We look forward not only to doing extra training but also getting our team together to discuss how to improve our client and caregiver experience. We conducted Gait belt transfers, Wheelchair transfers, a basic Hoyer lift maneuver along with emergency situations.

We also had a great open discussion with our caregivers who let us know what kind of additional training they would like in future meetings. Our staff is here to give our caregivers as many tools as we can to do the best job they can. We appreciate their input and look forward to the next training session.
