Maeghan Scott proudly serves as Owner & Operator of Right at Home of Essex County. After graduating from American University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Marketing and completing her Master’s degree in Nutrition Education at Montclair State University, Maeghan began her career as a PR professional with a focus on gaining publicity for consumer food, beverage and healthcare brands. She also started her own health coaching business, which she operated for 5+ years, helping over 100 clients to reach their goals.

In 2017, Maeghan decided to continue her father, Moses’, legacy and take over as owner of Right at Home Essex County.

I understand why Right at Home is important to my father and I am proud to continue his legacy, providing the same level of care that I would want for my own family,” says Maeghan.

She has grown to love the aging population and is dedicating to improving the quality of their lives with great care, stimulating activities and loving support.

Under her leadership, the office works with myriad of local assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, senior apartment buildings and local businesses on a regular basis. She is a current member of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce.

Our Core Values

To us, our mission is more than words – it is a goal we strive to achieve each day. It is the way we and our experienced caregivers deliver world-class care to our clients. Our mission guides how we run our business and how we treat our caregivers. Our mission is ambitious, and it takes a team filled with the right people to live out that mission each and every day.

Compassion: Coordinating care can be complicated, challenging and emotionally draining and we empathize with what our clients are going through.

Responsiveness & Communication: We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and recognize the urgency in our clients' care needs, and address them immediately.

Teamwork: Our dedicated teams of certified home health aides, nurses, and care coordinators, work collaboratively, thoughtfully, and efficiently to deliver the high-quality care that our clients need.

Flexibility: We are sensitive to evolving care-giving situations that may appear uncontrollable and stand ready to accommodate our clients' needs.

Respect: Mutual respect between our clients and care team is essential for a relationship in which our clients and care teams trust each other to combine the best outcome with the best care.
