Right at Home Essex County Fall 2017 Activities

As the leaves change colors and sweaters begin to come out for the fall season, we at Right at Home of Essex County are celebrating all that we’ve been up to recently. With a memorable summer connecting with the community and clients, we wanted to invite you to reflect with us on the last few months. Take a look back as we go full steam ahead serving the community we’ve gotten to know so well over these past 13 years!

September 23 - Providing Home Care Services at Arden Courts for 13 Years

For the past 13 years, we’ve been a proud provider of home care services at Arden Courts, where we worked with some of our first-ever clients. This year, we joined Arden Courts in celebrating their 19th anniversary. Here’s wishing them many, many more years ahead!

July / August - Honing Skills to Improve the Quality of Lives for Those We Serve

During July and August we attended training at Right at Home headquarters in Omaha. We met many friendly faces and made lifelong senior care connections.

September 24 - 16th Annual Stroll ‘N’ Roll

The Kessler Foundation hosted their 16th annual Stroll ‘N’ Roll in Verona Park. The event brings together hundreds of people of all abilities to raise vital funds to improve quality of life for people with disabilities.This is the third year we participate in the event to provide information on aging and disabled adult home care services. We were excited to be there with our friends from Kessler, Green Hill Retirement Community, the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

September 23 - Stronger Tomorrow, Inc.: Wellness for Mutilcultural Women

We are proud to sponsor Stronger Tomorrow, Inc.: Wellness for Multicultural Women in Montclair at Kip’s Castle. We enjoyed a night of music and participated in the discussion of wellness movement in this segment of the U.S. population. Right at Home Essex County is excited to contribute in the organization’s fundraising effort to support its continual effort in community outreach, global initiatives and other programs.

September 26 - Essex County Senior Wellness Day

We participated in Essex County Senior Wellness Day at the Richard J. Codey Arena in our hometown of West Orange. We met seniors from across the county at the free and enjoyed a day of food, music and entertainment. We were excited to share our mission improve the quality of life for those we serve and offered information on local resources of aging and disabled care in Essex County, New Jersey.
