Monthly Event Brings Resources and Experts to Seniors
Resources for Seniors
Our new monthly educational event brings resources and experts to seniors. Each month the event will be hosted by a different location that specializes in services for seniors. This way our visitors get a chance to tour a new location that may be of interest to them. Visitors will also have the pleasure of speaking directly to experts in various fields that are attending the event as vendors.
The Second Friday Senior Friends takes place on the second Friday each month. Januaries event will be hosted at the Lakeshore Family YMCA. Here you can tour their amazing facilities and learn about exercise classes, yoga, boxing for Parkinson's and more.
Our amazing vendors who will dedicate their time to answering our visitors questions and hand out educational material are:

- Rock Steady Boxing, boxing for those diagnosed with Parkinson's

- Beaumont Hospital, Advanced Care Planning
February's event will be hosted by The Wilson Center in Grosse Pointe, Senior Resources for Independent Living. You simply must to see a demonstration of their driving simulator!
