"Sharing Our Values, Our Lives, Our Community"
Thank you Acadiana!
We are beyond thrilled to announce that our agency has been recognized as the 2024 Gold Winner for Best In-Home Care in our community. This achievement is a testament to the dedication and passion of our amazing caregivers and staff who work tirelessly every day to provide compassionate, quality care to our clients. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service that keeps your loved ones safe, happy, and well cared for.
Thank you to our wonderful clients and community for your trust and support. We couldn’t have achieved this without you!
Strength & Heroism Come Together
Right at Home Lafayette had the incredible honor of bringing together two remarkable individuals - Holocaust survivors, cherished members of our community, Air Force Veterans and valued Right at Home clients. Witnessing their meeting for the first time was a powerful reminder of the resilience and strength of the enduring human spirit. We were fortunate to be a part of this memorable and enlightening experience, and we continue to be inspired every day by their stories. We remember!
Celebrating Our New Office Together
Thank you doesn’t even begin to cover the gratitude we have for all the friends, family and health care partners who joined us for our Right at Home Open House! The support and excitement we received about our new location and our Joint Commission accreditation was beyond humbling. We are blessed to do what we love by serving the senior population of Acadiana!
Celebrating Veteran Seniors
Right at Home Lafayette loves our veterans on Veterans Day, today, and every day all year! We baked blueberry muffins and chocolate chip cookies in our office to give to our veteran clients in honor of their service. It was a pleasure and a privilege to hand deliver our homemade goodies to the wonderful vets who we assist.
Alzheimer's 'Ice Cream Social' Fundraiser
The Right at Home Lafayette team had a wonderful time at the 'Ice Cream Social' for residents and staff of Cedar Crest Memory Care and Rosewood Assisted Living. Catie the Ice Cream Lady enjoyed serving up a little taste of joy. Thank you to all involved, especially 'Honor Roll Ice Cream' for donating its time and ice cream truck to help bring happiness to our seniors. We raised $300 for the cause!
St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl at The Vincent Senior Living
Right at Home Lafayette's team had a fantastic day at the "St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl" serving a signature beverage called "The Leprechaun’s Kiss!" Jennifer Eisler, Director of Marketing and Monica Smith, Marketing Assistant, for Right at Home Lafayette worked together with staff and leadership of The Vincent Senior Living to serve residents food and beverages in a festive St. Patrick’s Day Setting.
Providing Respite Care for 'Team Gleason'
Right at Home is a proud provider of respite care for Team Gleason. Part of the mission of Team Gleason is to not only help improve life for people living with ALS but, also their family caregivers. By offering family caregivers intervals of relief through Team Gleason, Right at Home can help reduce the physical and emotional stress that often comes with being a full-time caregiver. If you would like more information on Team Gleason and how to qualify for respite care, click here.
Team Gleason participant, Dan, appreciates the services that his Right at Home caregiver provides. Even though ALS has robbed him of his ability to use his voice, he hasn’t lost his joie de vivre. Every morning, he posts a new pair of socks on Facebook for everyone to enjoy. We were honored that he featured his Right at Home socks!
Angels Preparing Nations Donation
Right at Home Acadiana recently made a donation to Angels Preparing Nations, a local non-profit ministry founded by our caregiver Rombulus Washington. The donation was in honor of a client that Mr. Washington attended to for over three years. The special bond that our client and caregiver shared is a perfect example of our company mission, “to improve the quality of life for those we serve.”

Supporting Our Right at Home Heroes
Thank you to Ann Dubois, art teacher at Lafayette High School, for creating this special artwork in honor of our everyday heroes! Right at Home caregivers and staff work hard to help keep seniors safe during the Coronavirus pandemic. Our caregivers are essential to who we are and essential to what we do. Right at Home could not be prouder of the professionalism and compassion shown by our caregivers.

Painting with a twist at The Blake in Lafayette
Right at Home sponsored the first ever painting party with memory care residents at The Blake Assisted Living/Memory Care. We brought Painting with a Twist to The Blake’s newly constructed activity center and the painting instructors guided the residents and their families to paint a special Louisiana landscape. It was a wonderful bonding experience between the residents, their families, and Right at Home caregivers!
