Meet the Owners
Right at Home of Lexington is owned by Eric and Becky Hudson. Eric and Becky both come from careers with extensive backgrounds in sales, management and financial management.
Eric decided to open a Right at Home office in Lexington based on his desire to give back to his community. He noticed a need for high-quality, dependable home care for the people of Lexington and surrounding areas. He realized that seniors and adults with disabilities want to remain in their homes where they can continue to live independently. In addition, opening his own business allowed Eric the ability to provide more meaningful jobs within the community. Eric and Becky have resided in Lexington for nearly 20 years and have two children, Bailey and Dylan.
Our History
During his years working as a hospital administrator, our founder Allen Hager watched many patients, especially seniors, leave the hospital and return home. But they did not necessarily return to health. Allen found that, once at home, a lot of his former patients were unable to care for themselves. He knew that with a little help, most of these people could lead healthy, happy lives in their homes. This became the idea for Right at Home.
After talking to dozens of families about the challenges they faced and what kinds of care would help, he became a certified nursing assistant to experience firsthand the needs of people who required professional assistance to continue living at home.
Today, with the help of Allen’s insights, Right at Home has grown to over 600 locations that serve tens of thousands of clients across the U.S. and around the world.
