Caregivers form strong bonds with seniors
LIMA — John Thorne sat in his easy chair on a recent afternoon as he fondly recalled a time when his Lima home was buzzing with activity.
The 89-year-old, who has lived at the same residence for about 60 years, had a wife and five children to keep him active and engaged through most of that time, but now things have changed.
“This house used to be stormin’,” Thorne remembered. “Now all of the sudden my wife is gone, and all the kids have moved out. It’s just me now, so it gets kind of lonesome.” Continue Reading — source.
