2022 Southeast Caregiver of the Year
Congratulations to Anice Browing for her recognition of delivering extraordinary care to clients and their families.
Anice was selected as the Southeast Region Caregiver of the Year among thousands of other caregivers from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas for her exemplary commitment to making a difference in the lives of her clients and team members.
Last year, the Little Rock area experienced unprecedented snowfall, including widespread power outages, burst water lines and road closures. But Browning was determined to get to her clients.
“Anice knew one of our clients could not go without care so she packed up clothes, food and toiletries and stayed with our client for the next four days,” said Lauren Miller, Right at Home office owner. “They called it their ‘slumber party.’”
“Anytime I’ve called her to help out with a client or family member, she’s always there,” said Bethany Bell, Scheduler for Right at Home Little Rock. “Anice treats clients like family and is concerned about their overall well-being. Any client she’s worked with calls to request her to be their permanent caregiver. I wish I had 100 Ms. Anices. She really is an angel, one in a million.”
Anice’s co-workers aren’t the only ones admiring her compassionate spirit. According to Andrea Smith, Care Coordinator for Right at Home Little Rock, “We have clients who also believe Anice is an angel. They tell us how she brought peace to their family during the stress of COVID-19, how she puts up with their dogs and how she finds ways to do tasks with their loved ones instead of doing things for them.”
Anice has been with Right at Home for more than three years, working as a caregiver in Little Rock, Arkansas, for office owner Lauren Miller. Her compassion, selflessness and willingness to go above and beyond have made her a valued member of Right at Home and a beloved caregiver for seniors in her community.
Honoring Our Caregivers
National and Regional Caregivers of the Year are the highest honors awarded by Right at Home. Caregivers are nominated for their exemplary commitment to making a difference in the lives of their clients and teams. The winners are selected by a committee that includes Right at Home representatives and community professionals from outside health care, senior care and caregiving organizations. The award is presented annually during the organization’s conference.
