Helping Others While Having Fun!

Male Caregiver Talking with His Office Staff

"Right at Home is a really great place to work! I enjoy my job and the owner Edwin cares a lot about all of us. Plus, the care team and office staff are great . . . love all you guys! I get to actually help seniors and adults with disabilities in need, all while having fun with them. Some are really stuck because they don't have any way to get out or can't afford it. It's part of my job to help them get out of their houses and see a bigger world than they normally could without me. It means so much to me!"Jesslyn, Caregiver with Right at Home

Caregiver Spotlight – Bo

We are happy to introduce our Bo!! Sweetest soul you’ll ever meet! Bo has been with us for 6 months and when they’re not working, they find joy in spending time with family. Whether it’s quality moments with their wife or hunting for bargains while shopping, those connections light up their days. The Pittsburgh Steelers hold a special place in their heart. Game days are like a symphony of cheers. Imagine unwrapping a pack of Reese’s Pieces—those little peanut butter gems. The sweet and salty combo is their guilty pleasure.

Male Caregiver Sitting Beside His Senior Male Client Both Facing the Camera

One of their most poignant memories being a caregiver with us involves their first client. Despite the client’s difficulty articulating, they learned the art of service through him. It’s a lesson etched on compassion. Watching their clients improve and evolve inspires them, and Liz Lopez, their boss, with her heartfelt cards, inspires them too. Those simple gestures remind them why they do what they do at Right at Home. Bo advice for new caregivers is treat every client as if they were the most important person in the room. Dignity and compassion—those are the keys to making a difference.

Bo is our Marble Falls caregiver of the month because of their proactivity, anticipation to clients’ needs and always going beyond, also their perfect attendance and desire of helping as many clients they can. We all agree just one Bo is not enough!
