Owner and Managing Director

I've always described myself as a nurturer. In high school, I knew I wanted to work in a caring role as a career, and eventually I choose nursing. My first nursing job was in a senior facility on weekends, while I was in nursing school. Bessie was my first client. Bessie and I looked forward to the weekends to visit and catch up. When I was on my lunch or coffee break I found myself rushedly heading for Bessie's room. Memories of Bessie and many other seniors followed me thru the years, as I worked in the acute care, chronic care, home hospice, and home infusion. As my parents entered into their eighties, and my siblings and I became familiar with home care, I was more than interested in pursuing this as a convocation. The thought of caring for clients like Bessie again was something that was quite inspiring to me.

Right at Home is allowing me to live out that dream with the Right Care philosophy where we employ the Right People who are knowledgeable and compassionate, to provide the Right Services including what they need when they need it, with the Right Approach involving a personalized plan of care and the Right Mission of improving the quality of life for those we serve

I grew up in a large farm family where a strong work ethic was required by everyone. Family was a center-point of our life, both in terms of working together, and in supporting the layers of generations in our family tree. Although one of five boys, our mother instilled the importance of taking a personal, compassionate and relational approach with everyone that came into our lives. That heritage developed the foundation of how I’ve interfaced with others from various cultures, ages, and demographics around the world. I’ve had the opportunity to work with people of all ages in more than 20 countries. Having grown up a strong work ethic, I’m passionate about providing the best service possible for customer and clients. The lifeblood our service is based on the quality and credibility of what we do.

My role includes the Community Liaison and Marketing roles for the business, along with various back-office functions. I thoroughly enjoy connecting with others, understanding their problems and issues, and determining how I can be a supportive resource to those from all walks of life.
