2019 Caregiver of the Year | Right at Home Chatham, NJ

Right at Home Chatham, NJ would like to congratulate our 2019 Caregiver of the Year: Troy Campbell, CHHA!

Troy Campbell is a Right at Home Caregiver that impresses and amazes everyone she meets. Troy thinks about others in a very rare way. She has worked with our office for seven years, with six of those years working as a permanent live-in caregiver for one of our clients. Troy is warm, professional, hardworking, giving, and she lights up the room the second she steps into it.

Troy is also known for her sense of humor and is always making us laugh during her weekly “pop-in” to the office. Troy walks from her client’s house almost a mile to check in with the office.

Troy has absolutely had a lasting positive impact on her client’s quality of life. She treats this job as her calling, and it shows in the high quality of her work. Troy has been with her client through many different stages of her health and always treats her with dignity, respect, and love. Troy and her client can often be seen out in town going to the hairdresser. Her client would not be able to live in the home she has lived in and loved for so many years without Troy. The fact that she has stayed with her client for 6 years, only taking off when she needs to, says a lot about her dedication and work ethic.  Even when fill-in caregivers have gone to take care of her client, they report back to the office that Troy is a top-notch caregiver. They say that she not only cares for the client with extreme thought and care, but also takes care of the home meticulously. 

Not only has Troy completed her annual Right at Home Continuing Education, but she is also a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA,) certified under the Board of Nursing. She is the first to ask for additional training and education from our Director of Nursing. This is truly a career for her, and she sees her development as a CHHA very important. The Office Manager also raves about her attention to detail when it comes to filling out her paperwork. It makes the office staffs’ job easier. Troy is a Rockstar of Caregiving.
