Right at Home Exceeds 2024 Growth Goals, Awarding 37 New Franchises and Laying the Foundation for More

With 37 new franchises awarded, industry accolades, and a focus on innovation, the in-home care leader continues to expand its impact and support franchisee success.

Right at Home, the 700-plus-unit in-home care franchise, is celebrating another remarkable year, as it awarded 37 new franchises and opened 27 new franchises in 2024. With a goal of awarding 24 franchises per year to support the steady ongoing growth of the well-established system, Right at Home is outperforming its projected growth, welcoming a number of passionate owners to the system and bringing much-needed care services to key U.S. markets.

“Given we’ve been around 30 years and are not in a place to sell dozens of territories at once to place in a single market, we’re very selective about our inventory and the people we choose to award franchises to,” said Jennifer Chaney, vice president of franchise development. “We’re looking for the right fit for each of our territories. We saw quite a bit of growth in California, Texas, and Florida this year, thanks to our strategic development plan. However, there are still about 250 territories nationwide that we’ll continue working to develop with the right franchise partners.”

In 2024, Right at Home’s dedication to excellence was recognized with several prestigious accolades, including being ranked on the Entrepreneur Franchise 500 list for the 21st consecutive year, receiving a Culture100 Award from Franchise Business Review, and receiving a place in Franchise Business Review’s 2024 Hall of Fame.

Another major contributor to Right at Home’s success and visibility is the entire system’s dedication to true service. Thanks to the leadership team’s focus on attracting quality, dedicated franchise owners, the system has been able to engage with community organizations beyond the support that occurs through the Right at Home structure.

In April 2024, Right at Home dedicated a portion of time at its annual franchisee conference to service, coming together to collect donations and assemble three types of care packages—snack bags, meal boxes, and hygiene bags—for the Veterans Community Project of Kansas City, Missouri, a nonprofit organization that supports veterans in crisis through transitional housing and ongoing educational, financial literacy, and employment support.

As Right at Home grows, assisting the entrepreneurs and teams who support their communities remains a key pillar of its strategy.

"As a coaching team, we want to proactively reach out to people in our franchise system so that they aren’t only coming to us for help when they feel they’re already in a tough spot," said Mallory Hoskinson, senior director of growth and engagement. "We are providing that support for them on an ongoing basis, looking at their business from a 30,000-foot view to ensure long-term success. We help our owners, get their phones ringing, and give them the tools they need to convert and retain those clients. The support we provide is focused on helping them have profitable, sustainable businesses.”

As it prepares for another year of service and growth, Right at Home is seeking passionate franchisees to help serve seniors across the United States. The company is focusing on expanding in Pennsylvania, including the territories of East Stroudsburg, Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Chambersburg, State College, Philadelphia, and more.
