Our Mission

Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. We want you to be in the driver’s seat regardless of any limitations or challenges you’re facing.

Most of all, we believe aging isn’t just about staying healthy, safe and independent. It’s also about living well.

Jim Hutchinson, Owner

Right at Home owner, Jim HutchinsonRight at Home is owned by Jim Hutchinson, Janice Martino and Charles Lisa M.D., FACC.  Jim is a military veteran and spent 28 years with Fortune 500 Companies after earning a bachelor’s degree from Temple University. Jim and Right at Home Berks are members of the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) and the Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA), and is PA State Licensed.

Jim and his family have resided in Sinking Spring since 2000. When Jim is not engaged with Right at Home or attending one of his daughters sporting events, he may be seen on the court as a PIAA Basketball Official.

Janice managed a service company and their combined experience gives them a unique understanding of what is required to deliver responsive customer service.

Charles has practiced cardiology for many years and is well respected by his peers.  Jim, Janice and Chuck believe their backgrounds are well matched for the Homecare Industry, although their most valuable caregiving experience has been gained through relationships with family and friends.  We know how difficult it is to coordinate care for an aging parent living alone, those afflicted with challenging disabilities or how important it is to attempt to honor requests of loved ones to remain in their homes.

We  have witnessed the emotional and physical toll on relatives and friends after caring for loved ones with Alzheimer disease, cancer and permanent disabilities. We are committed to providing the quality of homecare service that insures peace of  mind for all our clients. You can trust Right at Home and our trained caregivers to deliver compassionate service in a professional manner.

If it’s care after a hospital stay, helping with parents or a long-term need for in-home care, Right at Home can help or provide recommendations.

We look forward to hearing from you.
