Connecting with More Than 150 Seniors and Caregivers
Right at Home Northwest Indiana recently connected with over 150 seniors and caregivers at Oak Street Health’s 1st annual Senior Life Resource Fair in Wicker Park in Highland, Indiana. As a sponsor of the event, Right at Home had a table where we gave out free Right at Home merchandise and information about how Right at Home can help seniors live safely and independently at home. Representatives of Right at Home included our resident social worker and vice president, Carole Dougherty, as well as Rachel Smith, our HR coordinator.
Carole and Rachel spoke with seniors interested in our services, some of whom signed up on the spot for our free in-home consultation, as well as caregivers seeking to join the Right at Home team. It was a terrific and informative event and the seniors and caregivers with whom we spoke appreciated the opportunity to learn about Right at Home and the other local support agencies that can help them in various facets of their lives.
