Senior Citizens Day at the Lake County Fair
For the third year in a row, Right at Home helped sponsor Senior Citizens’ Day at the Lake County Fair in Crown Point, Indiana! Right at Home Northwest Indiana was one of the vendors in attendance at this fun event on August 7, which featured free health screenings by Franciscan Alliance, free snacks and drinks, contests and prizes, a musical tribute, free giveaways, and information booths relevant to senior living. Our Office Manager, Marissa VanDyck, once again represented the Right at Home team. She gave away goodies to everyone who stopped by our table, including Right at Home letter openers, pens, lip balm, magnets, and jar openers, all of which were a big hit!
It was an amazing turnout with lots of seniors and their loved ones in attendance and we met with over 250 people! Marissa handed out information and answered questions about the types of services Right at Home provides and visitors shared with us their amazing personal stories about their lives and senior living in Northwest Indiana. We had such a good time and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year!
