Sharon Morris Interviewed on Veteran's Care Ahead of Veterans Day

Right at Home Bellinghan's co-owner, Sharon Morris, was recently a featured guest on 790 KGMI-AM speaking on the topic of veteran's care. During the interview she offered insight into caring for the aging veteran population this Veterans Day. Sharon said that Right at Home Bellingham serves a client base of anywhere from 10 to 20 percent veterans.

On Veteran's Day, caregivers take goodie bags to all veteran clients in order to thank them for their service. She said that others can honor veteran's by simply thanking them for their service or helping them to memorial services, or groups where veteran's can connect. One thing she said is important is to encourage veteran's to explore all of the services that Veteran's Affairs can offer them.
