Chaminade University's Employer Advisory Board Meeting

Right at Home's Operation Manager, Rick Tabor attended Chaminade University of Honolulu's Employer's Advisory Board meeting on April 6, 2018. This was the first meeting for the Employer's Advisory Board. The mission of the board was explored and defined. Eight Island employers were invited to help shape a board that will advise the school on ways to prepare Chaminade's students for the work force. The School of Nursing is Chaminade's largest program. They discussed having a health job fair for the Nursing students in the near future. Rick also plans to present Right at Home in-home care employment opportunities to the Nursing students in the near future. The next Employer's Advisory Board meeting will be in September, with some of Chaminade's faculty, Deans, President & students. This is an incredible new resource Chaminade is initiating.
