Owner

Holly Holton

Owner Holly Holton has lived in Central Ohio her whole life. Holly grew up just 20 miles east of Columbus on a small farm in a very close-knit family. Her whole family, including grandparents all lived very close. Her family values and caring for one another helped to lead her to her career choice in Occupational Therapy. She graduated from The Ohio State University with her bachelor’s degree, which started her 28 year career with focus on geriatrics working in the post-acute setting. Her first job was at The Chillicothe VA Medical Center. In 1994 Holly started a new job working in skilled nursing facilities and home health in the Columbus area. In the 28 years working as an Occupational Therapist, she was very fortunate to work in a company that taught her not only a strong business background, but more importantly, she gained a deepened appreciation for the client’s she served, as well as the importance of valuing the employees that worked for her. Holly’s strong belief in family values coupled with her career focus on seniors made her transition to opening her own Right At Home Franchise an easy choice.

As Healthcare evolves and the senior population is rapidly growing, so is the need for in home services for those seniors. Through her work experience, Holly gained the understanding that seniors want to remain in their own home for as long as possible. Additionally, seniors thrive in their home environment. Holly wanted to transition from a career that focused on “helping patients get back to their home” to now focusing on “helping clients stay in their home”!

Holly values her caregivers as well as her clients. She knows that the caregivers are the key to her clients successfully aging in place. She wants to help teach them and afford them the opportunity to feel good about what they do, as well as have a positive impact on their own families. She aims to be an industry leader as an employer who values employees and elevates them to be the best they can be.

She knows her clinical experience in addition to her desire to deliver excellent services will let her achieve the Right At Home Mission: To improve the lives of those we serve.
