Tricia Gonzalez
Office Manager
Tricia is 1 of 4 siblings, and grew up in Sunnyvale, California with her loving family. Her beloved grandmother Virginia, a type1 diabetic, had a stroke that put her in a vegetative state and doctors said it was permanent. Virginia couldn't walk, talk, or feed herself. They were all heartbroken with the news. Tricia's family is built with faith, family, love, and perseverance. Each day, one by one, her siblings would visit and do physical, verbal, and occupational therapy. Soon Virginia began to mumble, and eventually started to talk, walk and feed herself once again.
Tricia went to visit her grandmother one day and she had a deep conversation about how much she worked, and how unfair it is to her family. That we cannot bury our lives in work, or bring the new cars, expensive purses, and material things when we pass on. That we can only bring our faith, memories, purpose and love. Seven years after Virginia's stroke, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and later succumbed to her disease.
That conversation played over and over in Tricia's life, as she searched for a purpose. Seeking a more purposeful life, Tricia decided to be a stay-at-home mom to her three children. She involved herself with school activities, sports, and education for her children. Then a new opportunity presented itself. Her neighbor needed someone to watch her son with Down Syndrome and Autism. Following her Grandmothers teachings, she soon discovered caregiving as a calling. The experience alone to be a caregiver, with an open-hearted and well-mannered young adult was rewarding, and fulfilling. Tricia finally found her purpose, taking care of others, all in honor of her Grandmothers legacy.
Her purpose grew, and she finally invested in her future. Her epiphany was to serve more people. She has now dedicated her life to providing a better tomorrow for those who need help today.
