Caregiver Training: Learning Lab
The Learning Lab is our hands-on training space in the Skokie office. To help facilitate the training we make use of our medical training doll (Fred), hospital bed, Hoyer lift, wheelchair, slide board, gait belt, walker, C-Pap mask, catheter bag, raised toilet seat, and more specialty equipment.
At Right at Home Skokie, we believe it is critical that, should a homemaker-level care professional be in the position where their client needs assistance, the homemaker has some foundation in proper body mechanics and safe assistance for the senior.
