ADRC Yard Sale to Benefit "Walk to End Alzheimer's"

Right at Home of South Shore Long Island recently supported the Aging & Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) of New Jersey's Yard Sale to benefit the upcoming virtual "Walk to End Alzheimer's."  The "Walk to End Alzheimer's" is an annual event but with the current conditions with the Covid-19 pandemic continuing to keep us all on guard, this year's event will be held virtually.  We are hoping as many attendees that they have physically attend over the years will be able to join the virtual walk.  

The theme of the virtual walk this year is "Walk Your Way," which means participants can walk, run, bike, hop, whatever you fancy!  We will be video taping ourselves running to support the cause, so keep an eye out for that here or on our Facebook page!  

We had such a good time at the ADRC Fundraiser, and appreciate all they do for our community.  They offer a 10 week course from a certified instructor on Alzheimer's and Dementias that our Right at Home Owner, Jeanine Gagliano, was able to take.
