About the Presenters:

Brenda Hoover, Au.D., CCC-A headshot

Brenda Hoover, Au.D., CCC-A, is a Senior Staff Audiologist at Boys Town National Research Hospital. She has worked with patients with hearing loss in both research and clinical capacities over the past 32 years. Her previous research focused on the optimization of hearing aids. Currently, she diagnoses and treats hearing loss in patients of all ages. She obtained her B.S. and M.A. degrees from the University of Iowa and her Au.D. degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences.

Kristen Janky, Au.D., Ph.D., CCC-A headshot

Kristen Janky, Au.D., Ph.D., CCC-A , is Lead Audiologist of Vestibular Services and Director of the Vestibular and Balance Laboratory at Boys Town National Research Hospital. Her research focuses on the clinical assessment of dizziness and balance disorders in patients of all ages. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
