"To Improve the Quality of Life for Those We Serve"
Sharon Johnson | Vice President of Operations
My role at Right at Home is managing recruiting and hiring of caregivers and agency staff, as well as overseeing scheduling for the Edmond and Norman offices. I have both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Mid America Christian University. I'm focused on mental health and on course to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in late 2021. Before joining Right at Home, I worked as a general manager for over 10 years, overseeing a variety of operations and people and worked in the hospitality industry for several years thereafter.
I am motivated to work in the healthcare field because of family members who have and still are working in the medical field. I love supporting our seniors by hiring compassionate, hardworking and dedicated individuals to assist our clients. If you are looking for a career that is rewarding each and every day, do not hesitate to give me call! I would love to talk to anyone about the opportunities with Right at Home.
Bethany Andrews | Community Liaison
My current role at Right at Home is community outreach: building relationships with community partners, hosting and attending events and educating prospective clients. I’ve worked for Right at Home for 3 ½ years and started out helping with scheduling and care coordination. I love the team I work with and still assist from time to time for scheduling, employee concerns and employee events.
I have an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies from Clark College in Vancouver, Washington. I also hold an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Baking & Pastry Management from the Oregon Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon. Before joining our team at Right at Home I worked in the customer service and hospitality industry for seven years, management within the hospitality industry for three years, and administrative and clerical work for five years.
I volunteered at a memory care home in high school for two years, I enjoyed keeping residents company and helping them with small tasks, it seemed very meaningful to them. The last several years I spent a considerable amount of time caring for an elderly family member during a health event. I know how important additional assistance in the home can be to family members. I wanted to work for Right at Home because I know we make a difference in our community everyday.
Belinda Jump | Registered Nurse (RN)
I work with the Edmond & Norman Right at Home offices. My role is assessing new clients, completing sign-up paperwork, training new RNs, preparing various reports as needed, and working in the office helping with client and caregiver calls. I also administer employee physicals and other work-related tasks utilizing our software. I'm also part of a team at Right at Home that facilitates CNA Training and ongoing training for employees.
I have 10 years experience as a Cardiac Nurse. Prior to joining the Right at Home team I was a cardiac nurse for a physician’s office, participated in running a physician’s private clinic, accompanied physicians to cath lab, and prepared reports, and accompanied physicians on hospital rounds.
I chose a nursing career when my daughter started college. I was drawn to this field due to the versatility allowed for an RN. I truly love and enjoy being around our seniors. They have such interesting experiences to share and I want to be able to give back to them.
Katy Kempf | Staffing Coordinator
Before joining Right at Home, I worked as a caregiver. With over 15 years of experience, my main focus was on Dementia and hospice care. I spent 10 years as a dedicated military spouse and was honored to be an FRG Leader Assistant at Ft. Sill and Ft Campbell. I have 6 children and 1 grandson. I enjoy all genres of music, and LOVE food! In my downtime, I love to draw. I enjoy history, adventures, and traveling. I am a very affectionate person and when COVID came about, it was very challenging for me. I love to be of service!
