Karen Kochhar, Owner
Right at Home Tucson is a locally owned and operated franchise office of Right at Home, Inc., a senior home care and staffing company providing care since 1995. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. We do that by providing the highest-quality in-home caregivers matched specifically to serve your needs.
I am Karen Kochhar, the owner of Right at Home in Tucson. I grew up in Tennessee, enjoyed a small-city life, attended church, participated in mission work and found those experiences to be an important part of my development. For as long as I could remember, I always had great rapport and empathy with elderly friends and family. As I journeyed through my youth, I loved math and science. As a result, I got my college degree in electrical engineering. I spent the next 12 years after college building telecommunications systems and teams. I really enjoyed watching people learn and grow as a result of being a part of my team. I especially loved mentoring and leading people to achieve more than they thought possible. One constant through all of these times is my passion for serving others, especially the elderly. I spent my free time reading to the elderly in the nursing home, volunteering at the Ronald McDonald house supporting families with seriously ill children, and supporting the older members of my family at every opportunity.
For the past 14 years, I have been caretaking. I have raised two amazing children and now care for my aging mother-in-law in my home. I have become aware of how unsettling and difficult it is to find someone who can be trusted to help care for her when I can’t be there. This personal experience has led me to see the need for quality, professional in-home care. At this point in my life, I have decided to marry my business skills with my caregiving skills to bring quality in-home care to Tucson with Right at Home. At last, I have come full circle and combined all of my business and personal skills to fulfill my lifelong passion of serving others and to improve the lives of my clients, customers and employees. Everyone should have the opportunity to stay in the place they feel most comfortable for as long as they can. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to provide the best care for you or your loved one.
