Our People
Every business is only as good as their people. Right at Home Tulsa is proud to have an unparalleled team of professionals in the office, and the most compassionate, highly-trained caregivers in the field. Our team's focus is on caring . . . caring for our clients, caring for our caregivers, and caring for our community. Our highly selective hiring process is only the beginning for members of our care team, with individual mentoring, intensive monthly training opportunities, and robust benefits and advancement opportunities. This level of professionalism shows in the high quality, individualized care we provide our clients, and the collaboration and support we provide our partners in the community. We live and breathe our mission each and every day, with the goal of helping our clients navigate their life journeys.
"To Improve the Quality of Life for Those We Serve"
Stacie Murphy | Administrator/Director of Operations
I’ve always tried to live by the commonly quoted advice of following your passion and…doing something you love, meaning, you’ll never spend another day working. My passion is people. And, following this passion has gone well.
This passion for people can be traced back to my pre-professional days. Children. So, I pursued a degree in Early Learning, teaching preschool for several years. While that was fun (and sometimes exhausting), I wanted more. I moved to Arkansas for about five years. It was then that I volunteered for a local Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault center. The volunteer work became a catalyst for my growing passion. I worked with the state’s coalition and became a counselor for victims. I wrote grants for funding. I taught prevention education in the local schools. I was able to help my clients find healing through traumatic and stressful experiences.
Upon returning to Tulsa in 2011, I had my second child. Shortly thereafter I began my career with Right at Home. I have “worked” every position in this company including caregiving. Being a certified nurse aide myself, helps me to be able to put myself in our caregiver’s shoes. Caregiving is not merely a job, but rather a connection to people. In 2018, I received my licensing as an Oklahoma Home Care Administrator. I am fortunate to be able to lend my hand in helping families. To give families the help they need to remain in the comfort of their home is rewarding. I am thankful for my interactions with all of our families and the value they bring to my life.
Katie Jackson | Director of Clinical Services and Compliance
My name is Katie Jackson, and I am the Director of Clinical Services and Compliance. I came to Right at Home in the spring of 2018 to lead our team through the process of becoming Joint Commission accredited. With the hard work of a very dedicated team, we were able to accomplish that goal in December of 2018. Being Joint Commission accredited means that we are providing the very highest standards of care to our clients!
Prior to joining the Right at Home team, I was an infection control nurse for 20 years. Being an infection control nurse for so many years meant being very detail-oriented…which has proved to be beneficial in my current position! Being able to assist families and their loved ones is so rewarding. I lost my mother a few years ago, after she went home from the hospital on hospice. Being a full-time caregiver for someone you love can be very overwhelming. The help that my family received from compassionate caregivers made all the difference. I am thrilled to be part of a team that provides that kind of relief to families in need.
When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with my family.
