Praveen Vaida
Owner
After a successful career as an engineer and business development manager at a Fortune 500 company, Praveen took a step back to reflect on his life and purpose. He wanted to make a meaningful impact on the community through operating a small business and providing local employment. Praveen's decision to enter senior care was sparked by a personal experience. His grandmother, a diabetic with an infected wound, required surgery that resulted in the amputation of her leg. As is customary in India, Praveen's mother and aunts took on the responsibility of caring for his grandmother during her recovery. Witnessing the challenges they faced firsthand, Praveen realized the need for high-quality care and support for seniors and their families.
He leverages his operational expertise from the corporate world with the invaluable knowledge gained from caring for his own grandparents. This unique blend of professional acumen and personal experience allows him to deliver a service that is both competent and compassionate.
Kim Johnson
General Manager
Kim, a proud native of Findlay, Ohio, graduated from Findlay High School in 1990. Her journey led her to the U.S. Navy, where she served as a Cryptologic Technician for nearly a decade, stationed in diverse locations like Washington, D.C. (twice!), Rota, Spain, and various smaller duty stations worldwide.
During her illustrious Navy career, Kim achieved remarkable success, standing out as a high-performing individual. She was selected as Sailor of The Year for her command in one remarkable year, an achievement that earned her a prestigious Navy Commendation Medal.
A dedicated learner, Kim pursued higher education across the globe, ultimately earning her degree from the University of Phoenix. Her commitment to knowledge remains strong, as she continues to take occasional classes to expand her expertise.
In 2001, Kim embraced a new role — that of a mother to her daughter, Hope, and in 2002, to her son, Vincent. Family is Kim's top priority, and she cherishes her time with her husband and children.
As her kids grew, Kim decided to venture into healthcare. Armed with national certifications in Phlebotomy, Certified Clinical Medical Assistance, Certified Nursing Assistance, IV Therapy Technician, and ACLS, she also added Notary Public credentials to her repertoire. With over 14 years of experience in both clinical and administrative healthcare roles, Kim is deeply passionate about enhancing the quality of healthcare and positively impacting lives.
After living in two other countries and six other states, Kim's husband was offered a transfer that would allow them to move back to her home state of Ohio. A few years ago, they happily returned, rekindling their connection with Ohio.
When not immersed in healthcare, Kim and Danny share a love for antiquing, travel, art, movies, and Renaissance Faires. Kim, an Anglophile, avid reader, music enthusiast, and animal lover, has a trove of fascinating experiences, including meeting Charlton Heston and a sitting president and vice president. Not to mention her daring rollerblading exploits from the top floor to the basement of the Pentagon!
Kim's zest for life, diverse experiences, and outstanding achievements make her a valuable asset in any setting.
