Home Care Helps NYC Business Owner to Continue Working
What does home care and an online crossdressing boutique have in common?
Most of the time you think of home care when you need a little help aging in place. Caregivers can assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, transfers, medication reminders.
Home care also means helping to maintain your independence so you can continue living the life that you want. Our caregivers are helping our client Micheal, the founder and owner of Michael Salem Boutique. Michael Salem Boutique is an exclusive online crossdressing retailer established in 1969. Our caregivers Barbara and Roc, are the perfect match for Micheal. They help him maintain his independence so he can continue to manage his business. Barbara and Roc have been helping Micheal for over 2 years. Barbara works 3 shifts per week and Roc works 2 shifts per week where they assist Micheal with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, transferring, medication reminders and escorting.
Last week Barbara and Roc escorted Micheal to the Curve New York intimate apparel and swimwear trade show at the Javits Center. Continuing to work is important to Mr. Salem. Mr. Salem said “ Right at Home of Lower Manhattan services are very good, otherwise I couldn't continue. It's hard for me to get up from my chair so my aides help me with that. I also have trouble dressing and putting on my surgical socks.”
Right at Home of Lower Manhattan tailors our services based on each family’s unique needs. As a Top Rated Home Care Agency in New York for 8 years we are so glad to be able to help New York seniors like Micheal age in place and continue participating in the activities that are important to them.
