Before coming to Right at Home, I worked as a medication supervisor at Kirby Oaks Guest Home for 5 years, and I also spent some time working as a CNA. My previous work experience gives me insight into what our caregivers experience, giving me confidence in my duties as a scheduler.
As a scheduler, I assist clients in conjunction with our caregivers to ensure efficient scheduling. Efficient scheduling involves handling modifications, cancelations, or increases in hours in a timely manner. In addition to my responsibilities as scheduler, I report personnel & performance issues to my supervisor, Tina Lee. I also maintain ongoing communication with the insurance providers.
My favorite part of working at Right at Home is helping those in need. Whether caregiver to client, I try to be a sounding board for all."

Before coming to Right at Home in 2014, I worked at Goodwill as an Assistant Manager for 3 years. I’m very outgoing and enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling or just catching a movie.
I enjoy working at Right at Home because of the flexibility that my position allows me to have. I held the position of Staffing Director for 4 years, which prepared me for my current position as Director of Home Care. Even though my job may be stressful I love the challenge!
I’m responsible for the coordination of client visits, maintenance and upkeep of scheduling records, processing and submitting insurance claims and keeping accurate and timely communication of scheduling changes between office and field staff. I’m essential in matching the right direct care worker to the client.

I grew up in California, studied in Boston, and lived in Germany & Italy. I’ve come to realize being able to meet an individual wherever he/she is at in the moment is one of the most valuable gifts you can offer someone. Before coming to Right at Home, I spent several years in positions that involved, Sales, Marketing, Event Management and even spent a year-and-a-half in NY managing a home of individuals with special needs. Throughout my life I’ve striven to better help others, and it’s through this aim that I’ve found particular resonance with the Right at Home Mission. Now after over five years working with Right at Home, I find my greatest offering to the Right at Home Family is my ability to listen and empathize. I strive to meet individuals wherever they’re at, and that’s where I find the most satisfaction in what I do here within HR. When not at work, I can be found spending time with my family & friends.

Before coming to Right at Home, I worked for the International Paper within the Special Projects unit in Human Resources in which I handled retirees and prior employees’ benefits and insurance. I also assisted HR executives on special confidentiality projects. Following a leave from International Paper, I decided to move into the personal care space at Right at Home. It was a good fit because I had 15-year stint with Baptist Healthcare handling counseling for terminally ill patients.
Now in my 12th year with Right at Home, I’m our Office Administrator, handling internal office duties and assisting other members of our office staff with HR, billing and payroll. I feel my greatest impact happens when I can share my God-given gift of a calm presence to our clientele or caregivers grieving or going through a trying time. When not at work, you can usually find me taking up studies in Divinity Ministry at Memphis Theological School or at my church, Temple of Deliverance.

Before coming to Right at Home, I was an English teacher in China for twelve years. I loved connecting with people of different backgrounds, and finding similarities that weren’t face value. Since miscommunications were a daily part of my life, accurate, loving communication became a growing passion in my heart. When I came back to the USA, I wanted to grow my skills as a communicator, so I got a master’s degree in communications, and shortly thereafter became a part of the Right at Home family as the business developer/ marketing director. Nothing fills my heart with more joy than to calm and assure a family’s worries over an aging loved one. When I am not working, I find the greatest pleasures in the small things in life: church, coffee, kiddos, and board games.
