Your Career as a Caregiver

Now, more than ever, it’s clear how essential caregivers really are. The people we serve rely on our caregivers, not just for companionship during a time of isolation, but also for assistance with their basic needs. Without dedicated caregivers, many seniors and adults with disabilities would be left with little support. You can make all the difference.

When you become a caregiver, no day will ever be exactly the same as the last. No matter what type of caregiving you provide, you will always have a wide variety of duties and experiences.

And that’s important to us.

Caregivers are the heart of our organization. We know our company couldn’t exist without you, which is why it’s so important to us to keep your passion strong and to ensure your needs are met.

"Dear Mr. and Mrs. Carson, When I recently visited with Tessa, she explained the new policies of company compensation for cell phone usage and possible unpaid time that arises occasionally. I was quite surprised. In my mind, companies are not at all concerned with small employee issues like that. Also, helping with school supplies, Christmas gifts and all the other special things you do. So, thank you. RAH is a special place to work!"

"I was looking for a job, and they were one of the places I wanted to work. I like that they are so flexible with my schedule. They are willing to work with me. They are nice. If I have an issue, I am able to adjust my schedule. Around the holidays, they give gift cards and a whole bunch of things to show appreciation. They make it comfortable for me to discuss any issues I have. They try to find caregivers that match best with the client's needs. I would refer someone because it's a good experience, and they are so flexible with schedules. It's a good and easy job."

"I recommend them to my friends all the time. They are thorough with the training. They are always very available when we come into the office. They have barbecues, raffles, and little things throughout the year. Everyone has been very nice in the office. There is a form that I fill out that asks about my experience and comfort level. If I don't feel comfortable, they are very good at accommodating or looking into the situation."

"I saw their ad and applied for the job. I like that they give me clients that I love and I am able to get the hours that I need. They have been very good to me. I like that the training is very informative. They prepare me by giving me care notes that I can access from the Internet. I am able to go through and read everything I need to know. My supervisor is very understanding. I do not have a problem voicing my option. They give me promotions and a raise to show their appreciation."
