Caregivers Are the Heart and Soul of Right at Home Chatham, NJ
Right at Home Chatham's mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. We succeed through teamwork and having the best caregivers in the industry. Their professionalism, training, compassion and commitment to our clients and our clients' loved ones is unparalleled and we appreciate all they do. Every year, every month, every day we appreciate our outstanding Caregivers who are going above and beyond to create an amazing experience for our clients in Morris and Union Counties. We truly value our outstanding people. Who knows, maybe a career as a caregiver is right for you to!
Our caregivers are the important individuals who really impact our clients' lives. We want to show them our appreciation by honoring one caregiver every month through our Caregiver of the Month program. Caregiver of the Month recipients will be nominated based on work-related behaviors. A panel of Right at Home employees will meet each month to nominate and choose the Caregiver of the Month.
If you would like to nominate a caregiver for going above and beyond for you or your loved one, please contact us.

Cecilia Mensah
Caregiver of the Year Submission
She is a natural born leader when it comes to being a professional Caregiver. She cares for everyone around her, including our office staff. She is trustworthy, caring and so professional. When she is assigned to a client, we know it will work out. She is a great motivator and teacher to clients and to their families. She can adapt to the client’s needs and can turn on a dime. She makes Right at Home look good!
Client Impact - One client’s spouse said that she taught him so much about Caring for his wife, that he can take better care of her when the Caregiver is not there. This year alone, she was mentioned 4 times by our clients during our monthly Right Pulse calls. She always makes a lasting impression. She has worked with every type of client imaginable. She has great skill working with Alzheimer’s clients, she works with our Veteran clients, and steps in to provide care for our clients who are on hospice. She is also wonderful with reporting any client change in conditions to the Nurse, which greatly impacts our client’s well being.
Resilience- She is a full-time professional licensed Caregiver and has worked for our office for 13 years. She provides such great continuity of care to her clients. Our DON says, “This Caregiver looks at entire family, not just client when providing care. She is there for everyone and encourages them to take a break and take care of themselves.” She is also a great and eager learner, picking up the Nurses training and all annual in-services with ease.
Teamwork - There is no team player like her. She goes above and beyond to help her fellow Right at Home Caregivers. One new Caregiver was without a car and could not get to her shifts at a facility. This Caregiver had a shift at the same location. She would pick her up in the morning and drive her to her shift and drive her home at the end of the day. She raises other Caregivers up and will put them under her wing. She will often take her fellow Caregivers’ activity sheets and bring them to the office during one of her weekly stop-ins. She is a wonderful professional Caregiver and I would be thrilled to have her care for anyone that I love.
