We are co-sponsoring a CEU workshop entitled "Dealing with Difficult People" for licensed social workers and certified case managers on June 29, 2017 at Sunrise Senior Living of Plainview, New York. Refreshments and networking will be available before the workshop begins 6:00pm.
The program is pre-approved through NYSED, ACE/ASWB and PACE/CCMC. It will offer 2 continuing education hours for eligible attendants. *Remember to bring your license certificate number with you!

Dealing with Difficult People
Potential conflicts abound when working with clients and their families in medical and residential settings, as well as in the community. This workshop explores:
- The functions and dynamics of challenging behavior
- The use of case vignettes which assists participants in analyzing situations
- Development of positive plans of intervention involving therapeutic change processes
- What techniques to employ that can reduce interference and maximize safety awareness in the workplace
