Our Owners
Rob and Susan Brown opened their office in March of 2010 and today are still innovating, finding new ways to engage and better the lives of those in the community.
Guided by experiences with the care of their own aging parents, Susan and Rob left corporate America to pursue making a difference in the lives of the people and community their business serves. “I want to end each day knowing I have done something meaningful to improve someone else’s day! I live each day to its fullest and want to help those I care for do the same,” says Susan. Everything they do in business is grounded in that very passionate belief.
Our People
We believe there’s more to caring for people than just providing in-home assistance. You deserve a home care partner that understands the course of your journey and will help navigate the road ahead. Whether it’s preparing a meal or providing 24-hour care, we will be there for you every step of the way.
Exceptional service is something we never compromise on and our caring and experienced team will ensure that your safety and well-being come first.
Our Mission
Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. We want you to be in the driver’s seat regardless of any limitations or challenges you’re facing.
Most of all, we believe aging isn’t just about staying healthy, safe and independent. It’s also about living well.
About Our Office
Rob and Susan Brown, owners of Right at Home North Atlanta, understand caring for aging loved ones as they cared for their own parents. Providing respite care, companion care, personal care and more are what we are here to help you with.
From the moment you call us, we begin by getting a better understanding or your wishes. We perform an in-home needs assessment and then from there we create a person-centered care plan tailored to meet your needs. Contact our office to learn more about our services and how we can help.
Our Philanthropies
Right at Home’s mission is “to improve the quality of life for those we serve,” and expanding our mission to serve others around the world is truly a pleasure. We support many organizations that help people live independently.
Free Wheelchair Mission
Globally, an estimated 70 million people with disabilities have no access to a wheelchair. Those who cannot walk must crawl or be carried to their destination. In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, Free Wheelchair Mission has distributed more than 1 million wheelchairs to people with disabilities in 93 developing countries around the world, providing renewed dignity, independence and hope through the gift of mobility, at no cost to the recipient.
As an organization, our work with Free Wheelchair Mission began in 2016 as we looked for a partner that would help us further our mission of improving lives worldwide. To date, our team’s efforts have raised more than $400,000 that has funded over 5,000 wheelchairs, which were distributed through life-changing Vision Trips to Vietnam, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
Josiah’s House
Over half of the children living in the Dominican Republic live below the poverty line and can be found on the streets in at-risk surroundings in order to make money. Josiah’s House runs family-style homes that provide vulnerable boys and girls with the basic necessities, education, life skills, and family home atmosphere needed to succeed.
Recently, 70 Right at Home offices came together to support Josiah’s House by supplying everyday items for the children of Josiah’s House. The group delivered suitcases full of clothing, personal hygiene items, toys, and other supplies.
