Walk for Alzheimer's Orange County at Angels Stadium

Right at Home Orange County Offices at the Walk 4 Alzheimer's Orange County

The Walk for Alzheimer's Orange County was a great event. We loved seeing all of those that came to walk the field at Angels Stadium in order to support the fight for this disease that affects so many of our loved ones. The Right at Home Orange County offices were well represented as we joined the nearly 6000 people walking.

There were also a lot of activities going on, including multiple bands positioned by the Angel helmets and also along the walk.  The walk route went into the stadium and around the baseball field. Before and during the walk there were also volunteers dressed up as Star Wars characters. This was great fun for us and for the kids that showed up with the teams that were walking. 

There were different walls where loved ones could post pictures of loved ones who were victims of this terrible disease.  Over $500,000 was raised by the walk and the combined offices of Team Right at Home exceeded their goal of $1,500 by more than double.  This is our rookie year as a team. Next year by the grace of God and help from the families and associates of Right at Home we will raise a lot more.
