Ashley Creedon

Owner

Ashley Creedon joined Right at Home in 2015 After spending 13 years in corporate retail, Ashley had a desire to make a positive impact in other’s lives. This passion developed after the loss of her grandfather. “ Losing my grandfather was one of the toughest experiences I have faced. After a fall in the shower, he made medical decisions that ended with him passing on hospice. “He was a proud man, and he did not want my grandmother to assist with his personal care needs. My family was unaware of home care as an option to bridge the gap between his needs and abilities.” Ashley knows first hand the strain that illness and disability can place on a person as well as on their friends and family. She is dedicated to finding the best caregivers to serve the clients in our community.

Prior to becoming the local owner of the Scranton location, Ashley served as the Care Director for Right at Home of Pottstown. During her three year tenure, Ashley witnessed the positive impact Right at Home caregivers had on the clients in the greater Pottstown community. It became evident that Scranton, and surrounding areas, would benefit from such services. Steve Gettins, owner of Right at Home Pottstown, and Ashley partnered to open Right at Home of Scranton. Both believe that each client deserves the right to quality care in the environment they call home.

Ashley's Life Outside of Work
Ashley and her husband, Dominic, along with their daughter, have passion for music, sports, and travel. When they are not attending a concert or sporting event, they can be found in the outdoors with their dogs.

Kate Book

Agency Director

Kate joined the Right at home team in April of 2019. Kate brings 25 years of experience to Right at Home. She started her career locally in long term care at Manatawny Manor as an office manager and assistant administrator. Kate moved on to a long-term care management company in Cherry Hill, NJ. She served as a regional nursing home administrator to ensure state and federal regulatory compliance for resident care, life safety, environmental services, dietary services, and financial management. Kate changed gears from facility management to home care, which she believes “is the long-term care future”.

While working with another home care agency, Kate received a call from a very persistent and persuasive gentleman named Steve Gettins. His vision of home care services and his philosophy of workplace culture, drew Kate to the Right at Home team.

Outside of the workplace, Kate spends every minute she can at the beach. Her favorite hobbies are dogs, music, and swimming. Kate’s philosophy in life is that “Every job is a self-portrait of the person who did it. Autograph your work with excellence."

Jean Pierce

Client Ambassador

Jean started with Right at Home in August 2016. She worked in a similar environment for the VNA in Vermont. Jean switched roles from a facility maintenance company because it didn’t give her the personal feelings of satisfaction and time flexibility that caregiving does. Jean loves what she does at Right at Home, she has always worked hard to care for people almost as if she was born to do so.

Outside of the workplace, Jean loves to read, sew, crochet, cook, ride a four-wheeler, and spend time “doing nothing” with her family.
