Amazing Man and Amazing Artist!

Right at Home Slidell client Romualdo Costa recently turned 106 years young. In celelbration of this monumental moment, we brought him some fruit and celebtration decorations. We are priveleged to be able to help care for him. Right at Home Care Team members and family with us on our visit were Janell Hall, Sharon Welch, his daughter-in-law Patty. He lives with his son Ron and daughter-in-law in law Patty.

Romualdo was born on February 7, 1918, in Paso do la Cruz, Uruguay. He is an amazing artist and his work has been shown in Uruguay, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and of course the U.S. Even at 106 years young, Romualdo still paints every day. He says, "If I did not paint every day, I would have no reason to live.

An Amazing Operation!

Right at Home Slidell/Washington St. Tammany owner Harry Spring and his team's leaders recently visited the Northshore Foodbank. "We were blown away by their modern and efficient facility, as well as the incredible services they offer," Harry shared. Northshore Foodbank's mission is to provide nutritious meals to those in need. Their services extend far beyond just distributing food and It's heartwarming to see an organization that truly cares about the holistic well-being of its clients. Photos below include the group photo of Sharon Welch, Harry Spring, Ginger (Development Director) and Yvette (CEO of Northshore Foodbank); some shelves of food for first-time walk-in people in need; the "Grow To Geaux Edible Garden" for healthy options; and "For The Health Of All Boxes From Louisiana Healthcare Connections" food boxes heading out the door.

SummerHouse Park Provence Bingo

Right at Home Slidell Caregiver Helps With SummerHouse Park Provence Bingo

Right at Home Slidell's own Sharon Welch loves pitching in with bingo and other activities, and being part of the Park Provence community. Once a month she goes to Park Provence to visit and help with activities for the seniors. Prize Bingo was the event of the day, and Sharon bought different household items like hand soap, dish soap, Kleenex & candy for prizes. When someone won a game, Sharon invited them come pick an item and they loved it. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed their prizes!

Grand Easter Eggstravaganza!

CenterWell's Grand Easter Eggstravaganza was held in Possum Hollow Park. The event attracted grandparents who brought their grandkids to the park to see the Easter Bunny. Along with food, face painting, candy, and balloon animals, a great time was had by everyone. Right at Home Slidell owner Harry Spring along with Sharon Welch attended to help support and educate the community.

Here to Make GOOD THINGS Happen for Other People

Robin Grigsby Professional Women of St Tammany Award WinnerRight at Home Northshore would like to congratulate our own Robin Grigsby who was a winner of the “Women’s Choice Award” by the Professional Women of St. Tammany. This award recognizes women who excel in their profession and who contribute to our Parish’s present success and future development. The award ceremony was held at the Tchefuncta Country Club in Covington, LA.

The Professional Women of St. Tammany (PWST) PWST is one of the largest professional and philanthropic organizations of its kind in Louisiana. From networking and learning lunches to annual fundraisers they empower, educate, and support St. Tammany Parish professional women.

Many people may not be aware that besides being a star employee at Right at Home Northshore in the marketing department, Robin is the founder of Holy Diapers, a non-profit organization that donates diapers to mothers and seniors in need. Robin, the mother of 4, founded Holy Diapers in 2017 to help families struggling to afford diapers. Robin truly lives by the credo that she places at the end of each one of her emails, "Here to make GOOD THINGS happen for other People". Congratulations Robin, your Right at Home community is very proud of you!
