Self-Care and Wellness Week at Right at Home Slidell
This event is all about raising the importance of self-care and mental health awareness for our caregivers. We want our caregivers to take good care of themselves and be more engaged with their own mental wellbeing. Treating ourselves with compassion and love fills the tank so we can all provide our clients that same compassion and love.
Free Boxed Lunches!
Caregivers and every member of Right at Home Slidell's care team deserve to be recognized. We recently offered free boxed lunches as simply a token of the HUGE appreciation we have for them. We truly value their hard work and dedication, and this special event is our way of expressing our gratitude.
Helping Caregivers Be Their Best
At Right at Home Slidell we know professional development is key to having happy, effective, and efficient care providers. Our ongoing training and education programs are an opportunity for our team to sharpen skills and feel confident in their professional skills. HCP provides our caregivers with online training so we can continue to provide the right care to our clients. Refreshments were provided to the caregivers and, as an extra 'treat,' each caregiver attending had their name placed in a drawing for a gift card. The right care, The right people, The right approach. Thank you to everyone for keeping us at the 'top of our game.'
Birthday Celebration!
All members of our care team and office staff are invaluable to us and we like to show it. We were happy to celebrate Sharon Welch's birthday with an office surprise of balloons, flowers, cupcakes, and gift cards. We are better with you. Thank you for all you do!
Annual "Grab and Go Lunch" in Appreciation of Our Caregivers
Right at Home Slidell celebrated our caregivers at the 2nd annual Grab and Go Lunch. We cannot express just how much our caregivers mean to us and our clients. As simply a token of appreciation for their dedication and hard work. we served lunch from McAlister's Deli. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you do!

They develop caring and authentic relationships with clients. They train hard and put maximum effort into caring for our seniors and adults with disabilities. They are appreciated more than they know!
We invited caregivers to join us in the office for a special Valentine's Day treat – a thank you with love. "We would not be successful in business or providing care if not for our extraordinary team of caregivers and care teams," said Harry Spring, owner of Right at Home Slidell. "We invest in our caregivers and they invest their time in our community. I could not be prouder. Thank you!"
