Providing School Supplies

Right at Home in Slidell provided 48 kids with their backpacks and supplies for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. This year, RAH proudly launched the annual backpack giveaway program for the children of caregivers - and it was a HUGE success! Robin and Danielle had some cute little volunteer helpers to prep the backpacks. Each backpack included supplies such as: spiral notebooks, composition books, glue sticks, crayons, pens, pencils, colored pencils, loose leaf paper, scissors, erasers, folders, PLUS a toothbrush, box of Kleenex, and roll of paper towels.

RAH caregivers are like family to us, and they make our business possible! We greatly appreciate them every day and look forward to a successful school year for our caregivers and their children. We are so grateful for all they do and the superior service they provide for all our clients. We are always on the lookout for creative ideas to provide our caregivers with tokens of appreciation. School supply shopping can be overwhelming, on top of balancing work-life and personal-life, so we wanted to remove that burden for our awesome caregivers - they deserve it! We look forward to this event as an annual contribution to staff, and hope they do too!
