Inaugural "We CAN-CER Vive" Tutu Trot

Right At Home Washington St. Tammany participated in the inaugural "We CAN-CER Vive" Tutu Trot!

The mission of the event was to raise awareness, educate and support local cancer survivors. The race took place in Bogalusa, Louisiana, on November 9, 2019. Adorned in pink tutus (and extra warm clothes), the RAH Care Krewe completed the 5k race. Robin took 1st place for the RAH Krewe! They enjoyed guest speakers who a variety of interesting health-related topics. All proceeds from the "We CAN-CER Vive" Tutu Trot benefit cancer patients, survivors and their families to help them to cope with the physical and emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis and survivors' journey.
