Walk4Alz Orange County 2019 | Angel Stadium

Walk 4 ALZ and Run 4 ALZ is Orange County's premier Alzheimer's walk and run to raise awareness and funds for local families impacted by Alzheimer's disease, as well as critical research for a cure. Every year, over 12,000 people participate in the Walk4ALZ or Run4ALZ.  All the funds raised will stay in Orange County to fund crucial no-cost services and programs for the residents who are affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

This year the Walk4Alz event was held on Saturday, November 9th at the Angel Stadium in Anaheim. It was a great day to be out walking and running for those affected and caring for those with Alzheimer's. At the event there was live music, food, and the opportunity to walk on the field of Angel stadium. 

Right at Home has five offices serving the Orange County area. There were team members from all of the offices engaged at the event. At least half of our clients suffer of some form of dementia. The Walk & Run 4 ALZ is an opportunity to invest in research and care that would better the health of our clients as well as our community. It was great seeing all the people that came out to support such a wonderful cause. The event was family-oriented and fun for people of all ages. Right at Home owners in Orange County  made a commitment to raise at least $1,500.00 for Alzheimer’s Orange County this year. Right at Home set up a tent where interested parties could come by and meet our ownership group in the area and learn about the services we provide. The event was a huge success and Alzheimer's OC announced that they raised nearly $500,000.00.

While the Walk & Run 4 ALZ has passed, it’s not too late still donate for the cause. We will be fundraising through December!
