PCA Training Course

Would you like to work with the elderly and join a great team? Right at Home Westchester is looking for people like you!

If you are working in a facility and would like to transition to a more rewarding and safer work environment as a certified PCA with Right at Home, now is your chance.

We are offering free PCA Training Classes for people interested in this rewarding profession. Earning your PCA Certificate allows you to expand your opportunities to work as an in-home caregiver. You can transition from providing care in a facility to helping patients in the safety of their homes. Work one-on-one with clients and provide much needed companionship and personal care to seniors and adults with disabilities in our community.

If you want to care for clients in their homes throughout Westchester County, NY and the Bronx, this is the opportunity for you!

We Offer Two Courses

7 Day PCA Training Program

  • Open to certified and non-certified caregivers
  • Must have at least 1 year experience with elderly
  • Must have up-to-date medical forms including:
    • Physical or health statement form
    • MMR (measles, mumps, rubella titers)
    • PPD or Quantiferon
    • Drug screen
    • Flu vaccine record

4 Hour Competency Review Refresher Course

Only available to those with extensive caregiving experience or expired HHA, PCA, CNA certificates
