About the Presenter:

Carol Marak is a nationally recognized expert in solo aging and longevity planning. She developed the Life Plan Assessment, a unique tool that provides adults with comprehensive feedback about their top aging risks. The tool covers critical areas, including health, social engagement, financial stability, housing and location, legal planning, and purpose—each essential for a well-rounded life.

As a consultant, Carol partners with retirement planners, health care providers, elder law attorneys, and long-term care professionals to integrate holistic planning into their services. Her work is rooted in the belief that individuals aging alone deserve access to proactive strategies that empower them to age with dignity, security, and joy. Additionally, Carol is the face of the “Solo and Smart” YouTube channel, where she shares valuable insights for solo agers and their support networks.
